<p>
Patienth&aring;ndbogen (In English: &ldquo;Patient&rsquo;s Handbook&rdquo;) is an online medical encyclopedia for patients and relatives. It contains approx. 3,000 medical articles about conditions, symptoms, treatments, and health, and is illustrated with over 2,000 drawings, photos, x-rays, videos, and animations.</p>
<p><strong>Please notice that we do not accept private medical enquiries.</strong>&nbsp;We ask you to kindly contact your own doctor or another relevant health care professional.</p>
<h3>Medical editors</h3>
Every article in Patienth&aring;ndbogen is written and revised by a <a href="~/link.aspx?_id=CB5C30BA6A434DD2A9F6E6195731ABCC&amp;_z=z">Danish specialist and a General Practitioner </a>and is updated on a regular basis to make sure that the content is reliable and up to date. A secretariat and an editorial team based at the <a href="https://www.laeger.dk/english">Danish Medical Association</a> is in charge of daily administration.

L&aelig;geh&aring;ndbogen (In English: &ldquo;Doctor&rsquo;s Handbook&rdquo;) is an online medical encyclopedia aimed primarily at Danish General Practitioners and secondarily at other health care professionals. It contains approx. 3,000 medical articles and 2,000 illustrations.

<p>Almost every condition described in L&aelig;geh&aring;ndbogen has a corresponding article in Patienth&aring;ndbogen aimed at citizens. Patienth&aring;ndbogen can be approached via links in L&aelig;geh&aring;ndbogen. This allows health care professionals to easily access and print from Patienth&aring;ndbogen as a supplement when informing and advising patients and relatives about health-related issues.</p>
